Stoney resigned from her position in May amid reservations over how the club was being run and over two months later, a permanent replacement is yet to walk through the doors at Carrington.
Earlier this month, it was even reported that some of the players in the Manchester United squad were seeking contact with the PFA amid concerns over the club’s inability to replace Stoney.
New reports, however, claim that the club has now agreed terms with Orlando Pride manager Marc Skinner over a deal to take over the club’s women’s team.
That’s according to reports from journalists Emma Sanders and Tom Garry, as seen above, who say that despite an agreement being reached with Skinner, a resolution needs to be found with Orlando Pride before a deal can be completed.
