Transfer News: Paris Saint-Germain are ready to offer a mammoth salary to lure Paul Pogba out of Manchester United

According to the latest transfer news on Le 10 Sport (h/t Stretty News), PSG are ready to shell out a salary of €28million-per-year to Paul Pogba, if he decides to leave Manchester United next summer.

The French international has been in terrific form over the last two months and has acted incredibly professional despite the speculation around him.

The 28-year-old returned to pre-season training in the nick of time and has since featured in every single game for the Red Devils this season. His quality was on show in the season opener itself against Leeds United, when he provided four assists as his side won the game 5-1.

Since then, he has been a crucial reason why the Old Trafford outfit is sitting just two points below Premier League leaders, Chelsea. The Frenchman also won the UEFA Nations League recently as he played a pivotal role in the semi-final as well as the final.

Thus, United might want to keep the midfielder at the club for a long time to come. However, time is running out as he has less than 12 months on his current deal at the club and is yet to sign an extension.

In fact, Paris Saint-Germain are now ready to bring the 28-year-old back to his home country by offering him a salary worth €600,000-per-week (€28million-per-year).

The Ligue 1 club are ready to do so even though Pogba would prefer to join either Real Madrid or Barcelona, as previously reported by The Independent’s Miguel Delaney (h/t Stretty News).

Thus, with the French international nearing the end of his tenure at Old Trafford, it remains to be seen whether money really talks and the French giants can lure the star midfielder to the Parc des Princes next summer.
