Transfer News: Manchester United set for busy August with more signings and exits

According to transfer news from Express, Manchester United are set for a busy August with more player signings and outgoings. Up to three more players are still on the agenda for United. The following month will also see a number of players depart.

It’s hard to remember the last time United had such a great transfer window. Tom Heaton was signed to strengthen the goalkeeping department. The long-standing issue of adding a right-winger was solved by the addition of Jadon Sancho. Another marquee deal was confirmed when United agreed on a deal in principle for Raphael Varane.

However, the business has not ended there for the club as they are still eyeing three more signings in August. Kieran Trippier is being lined up to add depth at right-back. Eduardo Camavinga is seen as a possible replacement for Paul Pogba. Another centre-back is also in the plan despite the signing of Varane.

Nonetheless, any new signings will only be possible if there are player sales. Andreas Pereira and Diogo Dalot could head out on loan again. There is the problem with Paul Pogba, who is being courted by PSG while Lingard is another name that United don’t sorely need. Several other youngsters could leave on loan to get game time. August will be another busy month for United but it could see more outgoings than incomings. United have spent a lot so far and will need to get some fringe players off their books. There are several sellable assets as mentioned above and those would be vital to United securing any more new signings.
