Manchester United take on Brighton in the Premier League this weekend, which means it’s time for the Stretty News predicted XI.

Erik ten Hag will be without five players for the trip to the Amex Stadium.

We have spoken to the editor of WeAreBrighton.com to get their perspective on the game, but this article purely focuses on the team we are expecting Ten Hag to go with on Saturday in the early kick-off.

Both Joshua Zirkzee and Alejandro Garnacho came off the bench and had a positive impact on the first game of the season. It ended 1-0 at Old Trafford with Zirkzee scoring the winner on his debut.

Andre Onana will start between the goal posts.

Everyone is eager to see new signing Matthijs de Ligt make his full debut, but Harry Maguire performed brilliantly against Fulham and would be unlucky to miss out on a starting place. Lisandro Martinez is the only certainty to start at centre-back for this one, while Noussair Mazraroui and Diogo Dalot will operate at full-back.

In midfield, Casemiro is likely to be joined by Kobbie Mainoo and Bruno Fernandes. Mason Mount is likely to be benched in place of a centre-forward (United started the game against Fulham without one).

New signing Zirkzee is set to make his full debut, while Garnacho comes back into the team to join Marcus Rashford in attack.
