The Royals announced news of the transfer earlier today via an update on their official club website. Moore re-joins Reading for a second spell after previously representing the club between 2017 and 2020.
Moore joined parent club Manchester United on a free transfer a year ago after leaving her former club Orlando Pride. The 32-year-old took time to build her match fitness and she has largely been used as a squad player by The Red Devils boss Marc Skinner. Moore’s only starts for Manchester United have come in the domestic cup competitions.
The player is in need of regular game time and she will be hoping to get that at loan club Reading.
After securing Moore’s return, Reading manager Kelly Chambers said “With Jade, we know exactly the type of player we’re getting.
“Having a player of her experience, in the position she plays, you often need a steady influence in the middle of the pitch in those big matches and moments.
“She offers us just as much in possession, as well as out, and with her experience, she can often see attacks building one, two, three passes ahead of time, so I’m really pleased we were able to get this deal done and welcome Jade back.”
It is understood that Moore will be permitted to represent Reading in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup this weekend.
