According to Voetbal International, Manchester United are currently in talks with Ajax over the possibility of bringing goalkeeping coach Jelle ten Rouwelaar to the club. Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag is looking to add a new goalkeeping coach to his staff, and he’s opted to raid his former club. The news has emerged in the same week that United have reportedly have made contact with Ruud van Nistelrooy and René Hake over joining as members of the coaching staff.

Ajax are not looking to let Jelle ten Rouwelaar leave the club, especially as he joined the Dutch giants just two months ago. The two sides will have to reach an agreement with a compensation fee involved in order to bring the 43-year-old to Old Trafford.

Ten Rouwelaar’s current contract with Ajax is valid until the summer of 2025. The club hired him from Burnley, and before that he worked at Anderlecht, NAC Breda and with the Netherlands U20’s.
