Juventus’ name has surfaced in discussions for Viktor Gyokeres, but the situation surrounding the Sporting CP striker is shaped by intense competition from European rivals. According to Tutto Juve, Manchester United have made Gyokeres one of their top priorities as they search for a new number nine, with Paris Saint-Germain also monitoring his situation closely.
Gyokeres’ profile as a goal-scorer has driven his stock up across the market, but there is no indication from the reporting that Juventus are currently making a serious push for the Swedish international. The complexity of the transfer chase—owing to high demand and competing offers from clubs playing in the Champions League—would likely pose a significant obstacle for Juventus should they choose to intensify their pursuit.
In the same context, Manchester United are also considering other attackers, namely Moise Kean, who recently impressed at Fiorentina with 25 goals in 44 appearances last season. The Red Devils appear focused on Kean and Gyokeres, with the latter potentially commanding the highest fee due to his performances in Portugal and the broad European interest.
No details have surfaced regarding bids or negotiations between Juventus and Sporting for Gyokeres. The attention from Manchester United and PSG—and the financial strength behind those clubs—means that any Juventus involvement would require a decisive move and a substantial investment, given Sporting’s expected asking price and the competition.
While Juventus have been linked with numerous strikers as part of their summer rebuild, recent reports signal that the club’s focus remains elsewhere, with ongoing attempts to resolve the futures of current forwards and monitor other attacking options on the market.
