The Red Devils will be hopeful their injury crisis in defence eases after the international break
Manchester United appear to have avoided another injury blow as the international break draws to a close.
With Leny Yoro, Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw and Jonny Evans already sidelined, there was concern they were set to be joined on the sidelines by youngster Ayden Heaven.
The teenager had to be stretchered off during the 3-0 win at Leicester and was spotted wearing a protective boot after the game.
Whilst Ruben Amorim will provide clarity when he addresses the media ahead of Man Utd’s return to Premier League action against Nottingham Forest, all signs point towards good news.
Amid hope other players are closer to returning after the international break, here’s a look at the latest Manchester United injuries.
In a huge boost for Man Utd, Heaven looks set to avoid a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Making his full Premier League debut against Leicester, the youngster, had be stretchered off the pitch during the second half after suffering a serious-looking foot injury.
Heaven provided an update after he was spotted after the game wearing a protective boot but walking unaided, which suggested the injury was not as serious as first feared.

Posting on Instagram, he wrote: "Thank you guys for all the support! I have read all your messages, and I'm doing really well and recovering fast."
In a fresh update, it has been reported that the youngster has been seen at Carrington without a protective boot, and there are suggestions that a return to action after the international break is on the cards.
Potential return date: April 2025
Leny Yoro came off at half-time during 1-1 draw at home to Arsenal and subsequently sat out the wins over Real Sociedad and Leicester.
Amorim confirmed soon after that the young defender was suffering with a foot injury, but allayed fears over a lengthy absence.
The United manager told reporters last week: "No, no [Yoro's absence] is not long-term.”
Potential return date: April 2025
Harry Maguire missed the wins over Real Sociedad and Leicester with a calf injury.
It has been hoped that the defender would be back for the trip to the King Power Stadium. However, he missed out against his former club so a return after the international break seems likely.
Potential return date: April 2025
Amad had been ruled out for the rest of the season after damaging ankle ligaments in training last month.
However, the forward appears to be ahead of schedule in his rehabilitation as earlier this month Amorim hinted Amad could potentially feature before the end of the campaign.

He said: “I don't want to say nothing, but I have the hope to have Amad before the end of the season. We'll see.”
Potential return date: May 2025
Kobbie Mainoo is working towards a return to first-team action after picking up an unspecified injury last month.
He missed out on Thomas Tuchel’s first England squad but is nearing a return. It is hoped he could be back in contention for United after the international break.
Potential return date: April 2025
Luke Shaw’s injury issues continue to hamper his season, and has been sidelined since a brief comeback in December.
The left-back has been able to make just three appearances this season and suffered a setback in his return from a muscle injury in February.
Amorim has suggested that Shaw could make the pitch again before the end of the season.
Potential return date: May 2025
Back-up goalkeeper Altay Bayindir has missed the last few games due to an unspecified knock
Amorim claimed back in February the stopper was recovering but there has since been no official update.
Potential return date: Unknown
Veteran goalkeeper Tom Heaton is also unavailable with an unspecified issue.
Speaking last month, Amorim said this of the third-choice shot-stopper: "Tom is making a recovery. Again, I don't have a day, but [Heaton and Bayindir] are recovering."
Potential return date: Unknown
Jonny Evans could be a useful option for Amorim but hasn’t played since suffering a back injury in December.
He last made a matchday squad on December 26 and has not been seen since.
Potential return date: Unknown
Lisandro Martinez damaged his cruciate ligament in February and has undergone surgery.
He has been ruled out for several months, and is not expected back until late in 2025.
Potential return date: November/December 2025
