Manchester City v Manchester United – Who do you want to win the FA Cup final? | OneFootball

The question we are asking Newcastle United fans today is ‘Do you want Manchester City or Manchester United to win the 2024 FA Cup final?’

The two clubs meeting at Wembley this afternoon (Saturday 25 May 2024) in a 3pm kick-off.

This a rerun of the 2023 FA Cup final.

In that game, Manchester City totally dominated, but Manchester United got very luck, only losing 2-1.

As always in these cases of course, it is a case of who you most want to lose, rather than who wins.

So do you want Manchester City to do the double?

Or do you want Premier League also-rans Manchester United to win it?

Things are a bit more complicated of course with this one as Newcastle United fans, because if Manchester City win, then NUFC will be playing in the Europa Conference League next season.

Whilst if Manchester United win, they will play in the Europa League and Newcastle United will have no European football.

Of course, some Newcastle fans think that NUFC would be better off not having the extra burden of so many Europa Conference League matches and the extra travel and general disruption, as this would give them more of a chance of really going for it in the Premier League and domestic cup competitions.
