As the summer transfer window winds down and is set to end in a few hours, all eyes are on PSG and Manchester City to see if a deal for Gianluigi Donnarumma will go through.
L’Équipe reported that Donnarumma has already reached an agreement with Manchester City and even spoke directly with Pep Guardiola. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano added that Galatasaray’s interest in Ederson could clear the way for Donnarumma to move to the Etihad.
Journalist Alfredo Pedullà recently reported that talks between Manchester City and PSG over Donnarumma are progressing, noting that the Premier League club has offered a five-year deal worth €16 million per season, plus bonuses.

DAZN’s and SportMediaset’s Orazio Accomando reports that Manchester City have reached an agreement in principle with PSG to sign Donnarumma for a €35 million fee, with an additional €4 million in add-ons.
A previous report from The Mirror states that Donnarumma is earning around £500,000 a week at PSG and wants to keep that wage if he moves to the Premier League.
Manchester City, however, are reportedly unwilling to meet those demands. At the Etihad, only Erling Haaland earns more, at £525,000 a week. City feel Donnarumma’s salary request would put him well above their other top stars and have rejected it.
Nonetheless, it appears any concerns over wages appears to be all good for a reported deal going through.
