Manchester City are reportedly set to offer personal terms to Sporting Lisbon striker Rafael Leão after he rescinded on his contract with the Portuguese giants.

The 19-year-old joined a number of other star names at the Leões in walking away from the club, after they were attack by fans at the training ground in May.

The teenage goalscorer has take advantage of the ‘just cause’ termination which means he can leave for free this summer after the Liga NOS outfit failed in their duty of care to the players.

And the Sunday Times suggests that Pep Guardiola’s men have pounced in their bid to attract one of the most exciting young attackers in Europe.

The rangy goalscorer only played three times for the Sporting first team last term, but his talent has already been compared to the likes of Kylian Mbappé.

It’s claimed that City have beaten Paris Saint-Germain to his signature.
