Manchester City supporters have been subject to fresh fixture scheduling frustrations after the Premier League revealed two late alterations.

Pep Guardiola’s side are preparing to resume their silverware bid against Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon, as Manchester City return for the final two months of the campaign following the March international break.

The Sky Blues continue their quest to retain last season’s historic treble, having successfully reached the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals and Emirates FA Cup semi-finals, alongside being just one point off the top of the Premier League table.

Manchester City face three Premier League fixtures in less than a week upon returning to action, with games against Arsenal, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace prior to a trip to the Santiago Bernabéu on Tuesday 9th April.

The Blues are potentially set to be without seven players for the game against the Gunners on Sunday, after Guardiola’s side suffered a series of injuries during the international break.

City will be desperate for a fully fit squad with 10 matches scheduled across three competitions before the end of April, with a Premier League meeting with Tottenham in north London also to be rescheduled.

Manchester City fans have been left in limbo regarding two April fixtures however, with the Premier League revealing the possibility of major late changes to games against both Brighton and Nottingham Forest.

The Cityzens are currently scheduled to travel to the AMEX to face Brighton on Thursday 25th April, however the fixture will be moved to Wednesday 24th April if Manchester City reach the Champions League semi-finals and are requested to play on Tuesday 30th April.

City are also set to face Nottingham Forest on Sunday 28th April, but that fixture would move to Saturday 27th April if Manchester City reach the Champions League semi-finals and are requested to play on Tuesday 30th April.

Dates for the semi-finals of the Champions League will not be confirmed until the conclusion of quarter-final ties, paving the way for last minute changes impacting supporters.
