Manchester City and Tottenham to battle for Adil Taoui

According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Manchester City and Tottenham will both attempt to sign promising 17-year-old forward Adil Taoui from Toulouse.

City are said to have been watching him since last season, and with Spurs showing interest, the Cityzens are expected to make an approach come January.

City and Toulouse have collaborated so much that there have been rumours stating that the Ligue 1 side could be the next team to join the City Football Group.

City midfielder Manu García is currently on loan with the French club.

Though Taoui is under contract until June 2021, it’s believed that a bid of around €5m should be enough to secure the teenager’s services.
