The Parisian side are set to have set the fee for the defensive midfielder at €60 million, and unless the price lowers, Man Utd will set their sights on other targets to bolster the central area.

Ugarte joined PSG in 2023 and made 37 total appearances last season, and has represented the Uruguay senior side on 22 occasions.

It was thought that Ugarte would make the ideal partner for Kobbie Mainoo, but it seems like this saga has more twists and turns before it reaches a conclusion.
