The Portugal international has been United's most prolific performer this season - despite recently turning 37.
But the club legend will miss the Red Devils' final match of the season away at Crystal Palace.
The Athletic reports a hip flexor problem has ruled the Portuguese out of Sunday's match at Selhurst Park.
Six-time Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldo has struggled to maintain full fitness this season - with his hip flexor regularly giving him trouble.
But his injury woes haven't stopped him from finding the back of the net an incredible 24 times in 39 appearances this campaign.
