Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea are reportedly keen on signing Borussia Monchengladbach star Manu Kone this summer.

The 21-year-old has made great progress in the last few years. He started his senior career at French outfit Toulouse before joining Die Fohlen in 2021.

The midfielder has established himself as a key member of Daniel Farke’s side this season, starting 24 matches in the Bundesliga and making two goal contributions.

His performances in Germany haven’t gone unnoticed as several top European clubs are now being linked with an interest.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United, PSG and Chelsea are keen on Manu Kone ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Frenchman could be signed for around €50 million plus add-ons.

United have two excellent midfielders in Casemiro and Christian Eriksen, but both players are over 30 and are unlikely to be long-term options at Old Trafford.

Eriksen is currently sidelined with an ankle injury he picked up in an FA Cup match in January.

The Red Devils signed Marcel Sabitzer on loan from Bayern Munich as a replacement but the Austrian is unlikely to make a permanent move to United.

Chelsea are also interested in signing Kone despite spending over €120m on Enzo Fernandez.

Fernandez has had to play deeper after Jorginho’s move to Arsenal and N’Golo Kante’s injury.

The west Londoners want the Argentine star to operate further forward and want to sign a new defensive midfielder.

PSG are also in the market for a midfielder, with Renato Sanches’ future at the Parc des Princes uncertain.
