Juventus have secured the approval of Manchester United and Newcastle United linked midfielder Teun Koopmeiners regarding a move this summer in what will be a blow to the Premier League pair.

The 26-year-old midfielder joined Atalanta in the summer of 2021 and has established himself as a key player in Bergamo’s starting line-up.

Koopmeiners has been a standout player for Atalanta this season, scoring 15 goals in all competitions.

His performances have attracted interest from Premier League outfits Manchester United and Newcastle United.

Manchester United are looking to overhaul the squad in the summer and Koopmeiners is on Erik ten Hag’s transfer wish list.

Italian giants Juventus are also one of the suitors of the Dutchman and it has been suggested that they are in contact with the player’s representatives.

According to Italian daily Tuttosport (via Tutto Mercato), Koopmeiners has given his approval for a move to Juventus in the summer.

The midfielder has given his green light to joining the Bianconeri if they can agree a deal for him.
