Manchester United have received an injury boost ahead of their Premier League game against Fulham on Sunday with four injured defenders included in the travelling squad.

Noussair Mazraoui was absent from the Europa League matchday squad for the game against Rangers due to a knock he had sustained during United’s league defeat to Brighton last weekend.

As revealed by The Manchester Evening News, the Moroccan was pictured with the rest of the travelling squad as the team travelled down to London via train from Stockport Station on Saturday afternoon.

Apart from the right-back, both Leny Yoro and Matthijs de Ligt were also spotted as part of the travelling party after both suffered an injury scare during the Rangers tie.

The Dutchman was subbed off at half-time for Harry Maguire while the Frenchman hobbled off late on in the game, and was replaced by Tyrell Malacia.

Head coach Ruben Amorim had claimed that the Netherlands international had picked up a knock while the 19-year-old centre-back was substituted due to tiredness with Yoro having started the last three games in a row.

“Leny has a pain, also Mattha, I think was a bruise, a touch. Leny was a little bit tired, he’s playing more in this moment so we have to be really careful. We’ll see. I don’t know,” the Portuguese tactician had said after the game.

Interestingly, Victor Lindelof, who last featured in United’s Carabao Cup quarter-final defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, was also present.

Lindelof also there

The Swede was spotted in training before the Rangers tie but was not included in the matchday squad. However, it looks like he is finally fit and could make his return from injury at Craven Cottage.

Interestingly, The MEN also claimed, “Andre Onana, Harry Maguire and Amad, were not pictured arriving at the location but are expected to be involved.”

Despite transfer links, Alejandro Garnacho was also there while Marcus Rashford is set to miss out again as the 20-time English league champions seek a return to winning ways in the Premier League.

Confirmed travelling squad members: Altay Bayindir, Tom Heaton, Diogo Dalot, Noussair Mazraoui, Matthijs de Ligt, Leny Yoro, Lisandro Martinez, Victor Lindelof, Tyrell Malacia, Manuel Ugarte, Christian Eriksen, Kobbie Mainoo, Bruno Fernandes, Alejandro Garnacho, Joshua Zirkzee, Rasmus Hojlund.
