Manchester United escaped Craven Cottage with all three points courtesy of a 1-0 win over Fulham but new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe was not as lucky.
The INEOS chairman was present at the ground to watch Lisandro Martinez inspire the club to victory but was confronted by angry fans while he was leaving the stadium.
In a video uploaded on X (formerly Twitter), Sir Jim can be seen lowering his car window thinking the fans want a photograph with him.
He initially smiles and says, “Just get your photograph guys,” before realising that the fans were not there for that purpose and proceeded to wind up the window.
Fans angrily remonstrated regarding the recent hike in ticket prices at Old Trafford with one angry fan heard saying, “Sixty-six quid? Sixty-six f****** quid? You’re taking the p***!”
He then proceeded to compare the British billionaire with the greedy Glazers, who have ransacked the club during their 20-year ownership.
“What are you doing? Sort it out! You’re worse than the Glazers, mate! If Fulham sold [tickets] for 66 quid, we’d take triple their fans. Our prices should be a third of Fulham’s. Sort it out you c***. F*** you, Jim Ratcliffe! F*** you!”
INEOS have taken a series of unpopular calls since taking charge of sporting affairs at the club, including 250 job cuts while also cancelling Christmas dinner.
Sir Jim also decided to stop funds to the Association of Former Manchester United Players, a charity which helped former footballers who didn’t earn the millions raked in by today’s superstars.
And the on-field exploits have also increased the anger towards the new co-owners who are yet to provide head coach Ruben Amorim with any reinforcements this January.
United huffed and puffed their way to victory on Sunday thanks to Martinez’s strike while Toby Collyer saved their blushes in the end with an excellent goal-line clearance.
But irrespective of the three points, it is clear to see that the squad needs major additions if they are to salvage what’s left of the season.
Anger could build even more if Alejandro Garnacho, a fan favourite is moved on to Chelsea as PSR concerns continue to mount at the club.
