Manchester City wing-back Oleksandr Zinchenko admitstheir Champions League final defeat was one of the toughest days of his career.

Zinchenko sounded almost emotional as he looked back on City's 1-0 defeat to Chelsea last month at the end of a season in which Pep Guardiola's side won the Premier League and Carabao Cup.

Ukraine captain Zinchenko said: "The final it was obviously one of the hardest days in my career but I can say it was pride that we had such a great season.

"But I don't know how to explain, it's hard to talk. Because I really want to feel those emotions again, I want to be there again.

"I think it is the best thing that can happen in an athletes life and such a tournament as the Euros is at the same level.

"One day when you finish your career you will be sitting in front of your TV and watching those tournaments and you will remember, you will recollect, 'I was there, how awesome was it' so I really cannot wait for the game [against Holland] so I can feel it again."
