Man City interested in move for James Maddison

Manchester City are interested in a move for Leicester City playmaker James Maddison, although any transfer won’t be until the summer.

The Mail are reporting that Pep Guardiola is a fan of the 26-year-old with the Premier League champions potentially needing a midfield rebuild.

The futures of Ilkay Gündogan and Bernardo Silva are up in the air according to the report, and Maddison is being viewed as a possible replacement.

Maddison has scored seven goals in 14 appearances for the struggling Foxes this season and will be entering the final year of his contract in July.

It is believed Leicester turned down a bid worth around £60m for Maddison from Newcastle last summer.
