Man City boss Pep Guardiola reiterates his love for Barcelona | OneFootball

Comments laid out by Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola on Thursday have turned heads back in his home country of Spain.

As much comes after the tactician made use of the opportunity to make clear once more his undying love for ex-employers Barcelona.

Guardiola of course made his name as a manager on the touchline at the Camp Nou, after also enjoying a stellar playing career on the books of Barcelona.

Though the Spaniard has since long moved on, first to Bayern Munich, and then the aforementioned Man City, he has in turn never been shy in admitting that the Blaugrana have always maintained a special place in his heart.

And, as alluded to above, on Thursday, Guardiola only reiterated as much once again.

Speaking in an interview with TNT Sports Mexico, the 53-year-old was quizzed:

“Here in Mexico, everyone supports Real Madrid or Barcelona. How can we attract people to Man City here?”

And Guardiola, in his response, went on to assure:

“As long as they support Barça, it’s fine!”
