Malmö has announced the signing of Guinean striker Salifou Soumah this Monday, July 28, 2025.

As of this Monday, Salifou Soumah is now a Malmö player. The club confirmed the arrival of Salifou Soumah, who will wear the number 15 shirt: "Malmö FF is delighted to welcome Salifou Soumah. The 21-year-old has signed a 4.5-year contract." His agent, Youssef Moussaid, and the Premier’art agency led the negotiations between Malmö and Zira FK.

A product of Kaloum, Soumah also trained at the youth academies of Bastia and Le Havre. He then moved to Azerbaijan to join Zira FK, where the Guinean forward quickly adapted. In his first season, he netted 6 goals and delivered 4 assists in 41 matches, before an even more prolific second campaign with 12 goals and 7 assists in 41 appearances.
