Lyon reject loan offer from Sevilla for Enzo Molebe | OneFootball

According to a report from Fabrice Hawkins, Lyon have rejected a loan offer for Enzo Molebe (17) from Sevilla on transfer deadline day. The La Liga outfit have been pushing for the signature of the highly-rated French youth international but have seen their latest offer rejected by his formative club with only hours of the transfer window remaining.

The latest offer from Sevilla for Molebe was a straight loan with a potential option to buy. The fee that the Spanish club could have paid for the 17-year-old, should they have chosen to make the move permanent, was €7m. However, OL have refused the offer and look set to keep their academy graduate.

Sevilla set for a final push?

Los Rojiblancos are still pushing to sign Molebe, Hawkins understands. Nevertheless, with the transfer window set to close at 7pm and Les Gones rejecting their latest offer, the situation remains complex, and it looks unlikely that a move will materialise.
