L’Équipe report that Ligue 1 outfit Lyon are keen to loan out 19-year-old central midfielder Florent Da Silva during this summer transfer window.
Da Silva spent the 2nd half of last season on loan with Villefranche, where he produced 7 assists in 14 matches, and performed well at this summer’s EURO U19. Manager Peter Bosz chose not to include Da Silva in his squad for the pre-season camp in the Netherlands this week.
Da Silva is currently under contract with OL until 2025 and has a number of offers from Belgian 1st division clubs, as well as from Portugal and in Ligue 2.
OL are seeking to achieve a loan without option to buy agreement – this is proving a little obstacle for interested parties, who are seeking to include options to buy. This is the sticking point in terms of the situation decanting in the coming weeks.
