Real Madrid flop Luka Jović is reportedly willing to leave the club on loan this season in a bid to get his flagging career back on track.

He arrived at the Santiago Bernabéu for big money last summer but had a disastrous debut campaign in the capital due to injury, a lack of regular playing time and disciplinary issues.

MARCA report that the club hierarchy and Zinedine Zidane are both unwilling to give up on him and as a result, a loan now appears likely.

Jović is desperate for consistent football in order to get back to his best and with the agreement of the club, is now scoping out options for a temporary move.

The club understand the Serbian’s eagerness to play regularly but it is simply they are unwilling and unable to offer him this season.

Milan had previously registered an interest in signing the former Eintracht man on loan as did Hertha BSC and a number of other Bundesliga clubs.

It is also reported that even if he does depart the club, it will not alter Los Blancos’ plans not to make any further signings.

Jović scored just two goals in 27 appearances in 2019/20 for the Spanish champions.
