Luciano continues to build on his reputation as one of Brasileirão’s most consistent scorers, moving into second place among active top-flight goal-getters, according to Arquibancada Tricolor. The São Paulo forward has scored 79 goals in the competition to date, a mark that puts him just behind Gabriel Barbosa—the current leader with 117—and narrowly ahead of Pedro, who sits third with 77.
Since joining São Paulo in August 2020, Luciano has left an indelible impact on the club. He has netted 96 times in all competitions in Tricolor colours and contributed to three titles: the 2021 Paulista, where he found the net in the final versus Palmeiras; the 2023 Copa do Brasil; and the 2024 Supercopa Rei. His tally in the Brasileirão includes a remarkable 18 goals during his debut season at the club, which earned him the league’s top scorer honour in 2020.
Luciano’s most recent contributions in the national league came during a 2-0 victory in the 15th round, where he added two more goals to his Brasileirão account. This consistency has made him not only a central figure for São Paulo but also a reference point in the ongoing ranking of active top scorers in the competition.
His rise is anchored by performances in decisive moments and reinforced by his steady goal output year after year. Luciano’s status at São Paulo is further highlighted by his involvement in the club’s recent trophy successes, underlining his value not just as a prolific finisher but also as a player for big occasions.
The active top-scorer ranking currently sees Luciano between Gabriel Barbosa, on 117, and Pedro, who has 77, both with Flamengo. Luciano’s enduring presence in the attacking hierarchy points to both his individual quality and the prominent role he continues to hold in São Paulo’s attacking setup.
