Training, training and more training: from 23 to 28 July, Eintracht will be based in Windischgarsten, Austria. Here’s what’s on the schedule.

The 2023/24 pre-season is now two weeks old. After performance tests, almost daily training sessions under new head coach Dino Toppmöller, the return of the internationals at the start of the week as well as three friendlies by Saturday, Eintracht will move on to their training camp in the Austrian town of Windischgarsten.

“We will work hard to be fit and ready for the new season,” stated Jesper Lindström, looking ahead to the coming week. Once they’ve arrived at the Hotel Dilly, Toppmöller will hold his first training session on Sunday afternoon. There are then two sessions planned each day up to and including Thursday. “Pre-season is really short, we have to try to give quite a lot of input in this time,” highlighted Toppmöller. Friendly versus Vitesse Arnhem in Grödig

That input will hopefully bring to bear in the penultimate friendly against Vitesse Arnhem. Eintracht take on the Eredivisie side on Friday 28 July at the Stadion Grödig, kicking off at 14:30 CEST. EintrachtTV is showing the game live. The Eagles will then make their way back home.
