Since Wolfsburg head coach Nico Kovač announced that Max Kruse would no longer play for the club, the striker’s next career move has been uncertain.
However, as per a report via Bild, the 34-year-old has attracted the attention of MLS club, Los Angeles FC. This possibly might suit Kruse who has hinted at his desire to end his career in the United States. During a past interview, the forward explained: “USA will definitely be a station at the end of my career. I love America as a country.”
Los Angeles head coach, Steven Cherundolo has praised the Wolfsburg outcast in a recent interview. The 43-year-old said: “A player with such qualities should be an issue for every team. Also for LAFC.”
Though the European transfer window doesn’t open until January 1st, Kruse could make his American dream a reality should he come to a conclusion with the club whereby both parties mutually terminate their contracts short.
Should Kruse sign for LAFC, he will have the pleasure of joining up with the likes of Gareth Bale and Giorgio Chiellini.
