FC Lorient captain Laurent Abergel will make a return to the squad as Les Merlus look not only to prevent Paris Saint-Germain from being crowned Ligue 1 champions but also look to bolster their survival hopes.

After FC Metz beat Le Havre AC at the weekend, Lorient slipped into the relegation zone with just five games remaining. Régis Le Bris will need a fully fit squad if he is to ensure the club’s place in Ligue 1 next season and he has received several boosts ahead of the clash against PSG.

Abergel has recovered from a calf injury and is likely to be on the substitutes bench, whilst Montassar Talbi, absent since mid-February, could also make his return. Bamba Dieng will not be fit enough to face Les Parisiens, but he is also nearing a return. Badredine Bouanani and Ayman Kari are set to support Mohamed Bamba in attack, meaning Eli Junior Kroupi will have to settle for a place on the bench.
