There will be five changes in FC Bayern Women's coaching teams for the coming season. While Kjetil Lone and Clara Schöne will act as assistant for the first team from the 2024/25 season, Jérôme Reisacher will take over FC Bayern Women II and Michael Schubert will become his assistant. Matthias Wallner will look after the Munich women's U17s in future.

Rech: “Continuity a factor for success”

Head of department Bianca Rech is delighted with the future line-up of the coaching teams: "We are convinced that continuity is an important factor for success. Our coaches have developed very well in recent years, they know the club, the philosophy and live by our values. In their new areas of activity, we would like to give them the opportunity to develop further and take on new challenges. We are very much looking forward to continuing our journey together."

Kjetil Lone and Alexander Straus previously worked together at Brann.

Lone will join the first-team coaching team from the coming season. The 53-year-old arrives from Brann in his native Norway and will be reunited with an old acquaintance in head coach Alexander Straus: "I'm delighted to be part of one of the best football clubs in the world from the summer and to be involved in the development of so many talented players. Having worked together at Brann, Alexander and I know that we complement each other very well. We share the same football philosophy, which makes it easier to work together successfully."

Schöne will also become an assistant with the senior squad for the coming season after working as coach of the second team: "I'm looking forward to the next step in my career, being able to work with one of the best teams in Europe. This makes me proud and I want to play my part in helping the team and the club achieve our goals," said Schöne.

Jerome Reisacher will be in charge of Bayern’s reserve team next season.

Reisacher will take over as coach of FC Bayern Women's reserve team at the start of the 2024/25 season. The 33-year-old joined the club in 2019 and has served as an assistant in the first team in recent seasons. Reisacher will now oversee his own team for the first time. "After five successful and instructive years as an assistant coach, now is the right time for me to take over a team and the responsibility that comes with it. I appreciate that this is possible at FC Bayern and am very much looking forward to the task of developing young players and preparing them for the demands of the Bundesliga," said Reisacher.

He will be assisted by Schubert, who previously coached the U17s. "Fortunately, I will be working with at least eight players who I have already worked with at U17 level. The focus of our work will be on the best possible development of the young talent, which we will do everything we can to achieve," said Schubert, who has been working in Munich since the 2022/23 season.

Wallner new U17s boss

Wallner will be responsible for the women's U17s team going forward. "I'm delighted to have the opportunity to work with such talented players and the trust that the club has placed in me. We want to support the players in their development on a personal and footballing level and create a good foundation for their further steps in football," said Wallner, who previously worked as assistant coach of the second team.
