WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Pride this evening.
The 19-year-old full-back is a product of the Chelsea academy system and she signed her first professional contract with the South West Londoners in summer 2023. Brown has made one senior appearance for The Blues to date which came in an Adobe Women’s FA Cup fixture against Reading back in the 2022/2023 season.
With first team minutes at a premium at Chelsea, the youngster spent part of last season on loan at Watford, although injury brought her time with the Hertfordshire club to an early end.
Brown is now back to fitness and she is ready to help London City Lionesses progress in the Barclays Women’s Championship.
After joining London City Lionesses, Brown said “As soon as I had the first call with the staff here, I just knew that this was the Club I wanted to be part of.
“The Club’s values and ambitions are very exciting. I can’t wait for our first game, being at home is really special and I hope to see as many people at Hayes Lane as possible.
“I’ve learned so much from my training at Chelsea and I’m looking forward to putting that into action for London City this season. I’ve really enjoyed my first sessions with the team – the girls’ quality has been excellent and I’m excited to see what the future holds.”
Brown is London City Lionesses’ tenth signing of the summer transfer window.
