Lokomotiv star confirms Sevilla’s interest in his signature | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Sevilla have on Monday been credited with an ongoing interest in the signature of Lokomotiv Moscow star Nair Tiknizyan.

As much was confirmed by none other than the player himself this afternoon.

The board at Sevilla, it is understood, are on the lookout for reinforcements on the left with a view to the 2nd half of the campaign.

The first-choice target on the part of the Nervionenses comes in the form of Augsburg star Rubén Vargas.

In the knowledge that a January deal for the Swiss may not be feasible, though, Sevilla have identified a number of alternative options, too.

And one such player, as alluded to above, has on Monday made the interest of García Pimienta’s side public knowledge.

Speaking to RB Sport, in quotes gathered by Mundo Deportivo, Lokomotiv Moscow’s versatile 26-year-old Nair Tiknizyan – who can operate at either left-back or on the wing – confirmed:

“As far as I know, and I heard from my agent, there is still interest from Sevilla. I don’t know what this will lead to, we’ll see. In any case, I am a professional and I will give 100 percent to the team I am currently playing for.”
