Liverpool could welcome back Andy Robertson for Jurgen Klopp’s final game in charge against Wolves on Sunday.
The Scotland captain missed Monday’s 3-3 draw with Aston Villa due to a minor concern but Klopp confirmed after that game that Robertson could be back in the fold.
“I saw him this morning and he told me he’s ready to train from tomorrow on,” said the German. “That’s the situation.”
Elsewhere, it remains to be seen as to whether or not Diogo Jota can play any part. The Portugal international has not played since the win over Fulham in April and was thought to only be facing a two-week period on the sidelines.
Jota, however, has not been seen since and there has so far been no update on his fitness.
Klopp will be without Joel Matip, Ben Doak and Thiago Alcantara but is thought to have most of his squad available.
It promises to be an emotional day at Anfield as one of the club’s greatest ever managers bids farewell.
