Liverpool are set to face Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield on Sunday night, with both hoping for a positive outcome. The Reds would hope Manchester City drop points against Aston Villa, which would see them lift the Premier League title ahead of the UCL final against Real Madrid.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were victorious over their rivals Chelsea in the FA Cup final. The Reds then managed to grind out a 2-1 win against Southampton and are now desperate to win the next fixture against Wolves if they are to have any hope of lifting the Premier League trophy.

Wolverhampton Wanderers remained grounded at 1-1 with Norwich City last weekend, which gives them the drive to return to winning ways in the upcoming encounter and finish strong.

Team News

Liverpool

Fabinho remains sidelined for the upcoming home encounter as he is dealing with a hamstring problem. Furthermore, Joe Gomez picked up ankle injury in the last fixture and will miss out on the upcoming encounter. Mohammed Salah, alongside Van Dijk, would likely not be risked in the final Premier League matchup.

Jurgen Klopp could probably opt for the 4-3-3 formation with necessary changes to the starting XI.
