In the last few weeks of the summer transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain has been linked to Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman and Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho, with new information emerging on both of these files.

Journalist Matteo Moretto reported this week that Lookamn’s arrival in the French capital is getting colder. Moretto adds that the French club haven’t made any formal offer in writing to Atalanta. Moreover, journalist Graeme Bailey reported that Liverpool are eyeing a bold move for Lookman.

As for the Sancho file, The Guardian also revealed this week that a Sancho transfer to PSG, whether linked to the Manuel Ugarte deal or not, is unlikely.

The latest information on both players comes from RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins, who reported on Wednesday that Lookman and Sancho have been considered to bolster the team’s attack.

However, discussions with the clubs haven’t advanced, even though both players are keen on joining PSG. If a great opportunity arises in the final stretch of the transfer window, the Parisians won’t pass it up.

Lookman has been with Atalanta since 2022, making 45 appearances last season. The 26-year-old had an impressive campaign, netting 17 goals and providing 10 assists with his standout moment coming in the UEFA Europa League final, where he scored a hat-trick against Bayer Leverkusen.

Meanwhile, Sancho spent the latter part of the 2023-24 season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, where he played a role in the club’s run to the UEFA Champions League final. Last season, Sancho played in 24 matches for  Manchester United and Dortmund, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
