Liverpool striker Sadio Mane insists tonight's Champions League final against Real Madrid isn't about revenge.

Mane says Real Madrid were worthy winners of the 2018 final in Kyiv.

He told Marca: "No, for me it's not revenge, I think Real Madrid won in Kyiv because they deserved it and because they were a better team. I think that I and the team already forgot.

"Real Madrid deserved it, they won it and congratulations. It's been four years now and I think we have more experience, a higher quality in the team and we know how to play these games and I think that will help us focus for Saturday's game."

On joining Real Madrid in the future, Mane said: "Good question, but to be honest I am very focused on the Champions League, which is the most important thing for me and for the Liverpool fans. Everything else is not important to me."
