Liverpool have been handed an enormous injury boost after discovering that Andy Robertson avoided a serious injury after hurting himself during the international break.
The left-back limped off during Scotland's 1-0 home defeat to Northern Ireland on Tuesday evening, with Liverpool left fearing the worst regarding the 30-year-old's fitness.
Robertson dislocated his shoulder during the October international break earlier this season and missed several months as a result, but it appears he has avoided a significant spell on the sidelines after scans.

Liverpool are already without a number of key players at present such as Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson and Diogo Jota, with the latest update on Robertson a huge boost to the Reds' Premier League and Europa League title aspirations.
Liverpool had been left sweating on Robertson's fitness after he injured his ankle at Hampden Park, but The Athletic report that the defender is 'expected to be sidelined for days rather than weeks'.
Recent scans showed 'no bone or ligament damage' to his ankle, which is fantastic news for both Liverpool and the Scotland skipper.
Robertson remains a doubt for this Sunday's clash with Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League, but could be available in some capacity for the visit of the Seagulls.
However, if he does miss out on Brighton's trip to Anfield, he will almost certainly be available for the clash with Sheffield United the following Thursday.

Liverpool's other left-back options Kostas Tsimikas and Joe Gomez were both in action during the international break, with the former suffering an agonising defeat to Georgia on penalties that saw Greece miss out on Euro 2024.
It remains to be seen whether Robertson will be risked at the weekend, but Liverpool have two able deputies capable of stepping in for the defender.
