Liverpool winger Luis Diaz has joined up with the Colombia national team in London after an injury scare during the loss to Manchester United in the FA Cup.

Amad Diallo’s late winner denied Jurgen Klopp of a final trip to Wembley as Liverpool manager after a chaotic game at Old Trafford.

The Reds have been dealing with an injury crisis for much of the season and Klopp confirmed Diaz had felt a groin strain following the defeat, during which he was replaced by Bobby Clark.

Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo were also said to have felt strains, adding to the injury problems for the Anfield giants.

“Lucho [Luis Diaz] felt his groin, Darwin [Nunez] hamstring,” said the German.

“Cody [Gakpo] twisted his ankle. They play again in four or five days, it's crazy.”

Liverpool are already without Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson Becker and Diogo Jota, while Thiago Alcantara and Joel Matip may not play again this season.

Diaz, however, was pictured linking up with the Colombia squad in London ahead of their friendlies against Spain and Romania later this month.
