Liverpool forward Natasha Flint has re-joined SWPL 1 club Celtic on a loan deal which will run until the end of the season.

The Glasgow giants announced news of the deal via a post on their official club website just a short time ago.

Flint joined Liverpool in the summer after leaving former club Leicester City at the end of last season. The forward has made six appearances for The Reds in this season’s Barclays Women’s Super League in which she has scored one goal. Flint was most recently seen in a Liverpool shirt when the club took on Manchester City at The Joie Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The player spent the second half of last season with Celtic after joining the club on loan from Leicester City. She netted eight league goals in what was a productive spell north of the border. It is thought that Celtic have wanted to re-sign Flint ever since the expiry of her initial loan deal and they have now achieved their aim in bringing her back.

Flint joins a Celtic side that are chasing Glasgow rivals Rangers at the top of the SWPL 1 table. The Ghirls are three points adrift of their neighbours in second place.
