Liverpool have completed the signing of Uruguayan forward Darwin Núñez from Benfica.
The 22-year-old has reportedly signed a six-year deal at Anfield and joins for an initial £64m (€75m), with add-ons taking the potential final price to a club-record £85.5m (€100m) fee.
Núñez can operate as a central striker as well as playing on the left and scored 34 goals in 41 games for the Portuguese club last season.
He arrived at the Estádio da Luz from Almería for €24m in 2020 and leaves having scored 47 goals for the Eagles.
Núñez impressed Jürgen Klopp during the two Champions League matches between the two sides in the quarter final stage this season, scoring in both legs of the tie despite ending up on the losing side.
