Liverpool were reportedly among six Premier League clubs in attendance on Friday, all casting an eye on Brest left-back Bradley Locko as his side picked up a 1-1 draw at home to Reims.

This is according to Football Insider who reported last week that the Reds, alongside Aston Villa and West Ham, were reportedly weighing up bids for the 22-year-old, impressed by his stellar performances in Ligue 1 this season.

Aston Villa look set to qualify for the Champions League next season and are eyeing new arrivals to bolster their squad, while West Ham are in the market for a replacement for veteran left-back Aaron Cresswell, whose contract expires in June.

According to this fresh report, scouts from Chelsea, Tottenham and Crystal Palace also watched the defender this weekend and could step up their interest.

AN UPGRADE ON KOSTAS TSMIKAS?

Locked into a contract with Brest until June 2027, Locko's future remains a subject of intense speculation, especially with Premier League giants Liverpool seeking reinforcements in the left-back position.

The Anfield club's interest in Locko comes as Andrew Robertson, now 30, grappled with injuries throughout the 2023-24 campaign.

In his absence, Kostas Tsimikas was often overlooked in favour of Joe Gomez, who could be on his way out of the club.

Tsimikas himself is being linked with Barcelona, with reports that the Catalans have been in touch with the Greek's representatives.

BRADLEY LOCKO TO REPRESENT FRANCE AT THE OLYMPICS

Locko's contributions have been instrumental in Brest's strong campaign, with the Brittany side currently on course to quality for next year's Champions League against all odds.

The left-back has been a mainstay in Brest's lineup this season, playing in all 33 of his side's Ligue 1 fixtures and providing three assists.

Despite only joining Brest from Stade Reims last summer, following a successful loan spell in the 2022-23 campaign, Locko has swiftly established himself as a key figure in the team.

Adding to his achievements, Locko has also earned a spot in Thierry Henry’s Olympics squad, set to take place on French soil later this year, highlighting his rising stature in French football.

Therefore, should the Reds ultimately decide to pursue Locko, competition will be fierce for his signature, and the club may need to act fast ahead of the Summer Games, when the world's eyes will be on the prodigious talent.
