After signing from Boca Juniors in January 2019, much was to be expected from Lisandro Magallán after Ajax spent €9m to bring him to Amsterdam.
Unfortunately for the Dutch giants, Magallán has left much to be desired, making only six appearances before being shipped off to Deportivo Alavés on loan for the entirety of last season.
Now, the Argentine is on the move again.
On Thursday, Ajax announced that Magallán will be headed to newly-promoted Serie A side Crotone for the entirety of the 2020-21 campaign.
With Alavés last season, Magallán made 18 appearances in all competitions, contributing a goal and an assist in 1,284 total minutes.
