Lisa Boattin’s Sunday, 12 May, was a special one. Having recently made her 200th appearance for the Bianconere, Boa handed her shirt over to the Juventus Museum and entered the Hall of Fame, in the section dedicated to the women.

This is no small feat, either, as Lisa is one of the players who has written, and who continues to write, the history of an extraordinary project.

The occasion took place in the company of a lot of fans, with Bianconeri from all over the world flocking to the Museum ahead of the men’s first team’s match at the Allianz Stadium. It was also attended by Juventus President Gianluca Ferrero, Juventus Museum President Paolo Garimberti, and Women’s Football Director Stefano Braghin.

“Coming here is always special,” Boattin said. “And it’s great to have my parents here, as they’ve followed me since day one. I’m grateful to the club, I’ve been here so many times as a fan, and being part of it is a unique feeling.”

“I have to thank Lisa,” added Gianluca Ferrero. “I’m always happy to organise these moments with players who have written part of our club’s history, here, surrounded by all of our trophies. Congratulations to Lisa for her achievement and for being Juventina on and off the pitch.”

Paolo Garimberti added: “Innovating has always been one of our constants, and the Juventus Women, just like the Next Gen, are important. Our women’s team has become fundamental to our club’s history.”

“It’s always a special thing to hit these milestones,” Stefano Braghin said, concluding. “Lisa’s love for Juventus makes the emotion and symbolism of this even greater. It’s an incredible achievement that shows how you can be a leader despite youth, and Boa has been one since day one here. Leadership comes from the heart before the legs, and I’m happy that we’ve written this story together, and there’s still a lot to come in the future.”
