Another weekend, another Lionel Messi masterclass, another breathtaking landmark.
Messi has now hit 400 goals in LaLiga in the 435 league appearances heâs made since his debut at the age of 17.
To mark his achievement, hereâs a look back at 10 of the biggest and best strikes of his career.
Albacete (H): May 2005
The beginning of something special. Having had a goal ruled out earlier in the game, Messi cooly lobbed goalkeeper Raul Valbuena to score his first Barcelona goal.
Real Madrid (H): March 2007
Weâre cheating a bit here â we said 10 goals but this actually takes us to 12.
Messi, remarkably, netted his first ever hat-trick in El ClĂĄsico. All three were equalisers and the third in particular was absolutely dynamite.
Malaga (H): March 2009
âIt defied logic what he did,â says Thierry Henry, who named this as his favourite Messi goal in the Barcelona documentary âTake the Ball, Pass the Ballâ.
âThereâs a diagonal ball and he controls it on his chest. He runs full speed, then the first player goes and the second player is just behind. If he takes another step, that player will clear the ball.â
So Messi did what he does â a shimmy in the blink of an eye â and fired home into the top corner. Unstoppable.
Zaragoza (A): March 2010
Another glorious solo goal. This time around, the Argentine even wins the ball himself before launching into one of his most memorable runs.
Midfielder shrugged off and two defenders turned inside out.
Betis (A): December 2012
The crowning moment of what may have been the greatest year in Messiâs career. A typical dribble and low finish. The forwardâs 86th goal of 2012 took him beyond Gerd MĂŒllerâs 40-year record of scoring 85 goals in a calendar year.
Athletic (A): April 2013
One defender. Two defenders. Three, four, five. Then you just pass the ball into the corner from the edge of the area.
Easy really, isnât it?
Cordoba (H): December 2014
The fifth goal of the night against Cordoba saw Messi net with his weaker right foot. Even then, he does it with some style.
A sublime first touch that looks physically impossible, a 180 degree swivel, a âweakâ foot volley. As you do.
Real Madrid (A): April 2017
The last minute winner of a ClĂĄsico will always be iconic for supporters. Messi paired this one with his most famous celebration ever.
Barcelona had to win to keep the title race alive and they did it at the death. A lightning break was finished off by Messi for his 500th competitive goal for Barcelona.
And then? Then he had the gaul to remove his shirt and present the name on the back to the Bernabéu faithful.
Real Sociedad (A): January 2018
Messi scored a remarkable 10 free-kicks in 2018, over a quarter of the free-kicks heâs ever scored for Barcelona and the most any player has ever scored in a single year in Spain.
This effort from 35-yards last January was the pick of the bunch.
