VfL Wolfsburg winger Vaclav Cerny, who has been linked with a move to Rangers this summer, is a ‘legitimate transfer target’ for the Glasgow giants, according to Football Scotland.
Speculation regarding the future of the Czech international is rife after he followed Rangers boss Philippe Clement on social media.
There have been reports in Scotland linking Cerny with a move to Ibrox in the coming days.
And Cerny is a legitimate transfer target for Rangers, with work likely being done behind the scenes to take the 26-year-old to Scotland.
An Ajax academy graduate, Cerny joined Wolfsburg only last summer and ended the Bundesliga season with six goal contributions in 25 appearances overall.
The winger could now be on his way out after just one season, moving across the channel to join Rangers, who fell short to Celtic in the race for the Scottish Premiership title last season.
Rangers boss Clement has already added to his wide option this season, having brought in Oscar Cortes from Lille but is looking for more.
The Gers are expected to need to sell to buy, but look to be close to offloading Sam Lammers for around €5m.
