Manchester United have had a formal bid worth over €50m accepted by Lille for teenager Leny Yoro. Real Madrid have identified the defender as a priority signing and now need to accelerate their efforts to sign the player.

Lille are asking Yoro to move to the Premier League, as Man United have given them the highest proposal. However, the 18-year-old has his heart set on a move to Madrid and it is public knowledge that his preference is to join Los Blancos.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the Spanish giants remain very relaxed and are standing firm on their stance, despite the bid from United. The club are aware of Yoro’s preference to join them and are even willing to wait until next year to sign him.

There is a deal to be done this summer, however Madrid will only sanction this deal if it is completed on their terms. The conditions of the deal must be below €60m or they will wait until June 2025 to sign the Frenchman as a free agent.

Yoro has always given priority to Madrid as it is his dream move, however if they are unable to match the offer from the Red Devils, he may reconsider his position.
