Barcelona entertained Valencia at the Nou Camp earlier tonight as they focused on securing a good result at home in La Liga. The home team made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 22nd minute when Fermin Lopez found the back of the net. However, Valencia equalised just five minutes later thanks to Hugo Duro’s goal. Pepelu completed the turnaround for the visitors from the penalty spot in the 38th minute.

Barcelona found themselves at a numerical advantage in the first half injury-time when Giorgi Mamardashvili was sent off by the referee as they went into the half-time break 2-1 down on the scoreline.
