This comes with Lewandowski’s strike having activated a clause in the 35-year-old’s contract with the club.

As per the aforementioned MD, for each season in which Lewa manages 25 goals across all competitions, Barcelona owe €1.25 million to Bayern Munich.

With his latest finish having seen the veteran frontman hit the quarter-century mark for the 2nd year running, the Camp Nou brass will therefore be forced to open their chequebook once more.
