Lens predicted XI v Strasbourg: Facundo Medina and David Pereira Da Costa out | OneFootball

RC Lens will be without key centre-back Facundo Medina when they face RC Strasbourg Alsace in Ligue 1 on Sunday afternoon. The Argentina international misses out through suspension after being sent off during the 2-0 defeat to OGC Nice last weekend.

Medina’s absence is a blow for Will Still, who also lost Kevin Danso and Abdukodir Khusanov during the winter transfer window. With a lack of centre-backs at his disposal, he may opt to change to a four at the back against Strasbourg. Lens are, however, bolstered by the return of Ruben Aguilar. His return is timely given the departure of Przemyslaw Frankowski earlier in the week. He may not be the last player to leave Les Sang et Or. David Pereria Da Costa is also nearing a move away with a transfer to the MLS looming. He will therefore play no part in today’s game. Mathew Ryan is also out.
